Commissioned to design the Limedrop flagship store in the iconic Nicholas Building Melbourne we took this project on with great care.
We worked to create a pared back space to reveal the beautiful bones of the building. Including bare concrete floors, simple white walls and custom made steel racks which utilise the vast height of the space. Cement sheet with hardwood detailing brings a clean modern touch to the materiality of the space.
As a way of building a connection between the ground and the mezzanine space we designed a steel diamond shaped vertical garden to draw the eye up.
Emphasis on large and comfortable fitting rooms and a bright and welcoming space was important to the team at Limedrop. Feature brass wall light by Fletcher Barnes and Kristin Lewis. Vintage wall sconces found and re-purposed by Simon Boucher
