Lygon Food Store

Established in 1952, The Lygon Food Store is a Carlton institution. Moth Design were engaged to give the store’s tired interior a facelift that would be suitable for both day and evening trade. A neutral birch ply has been used throughout in conjunction with steel framework, which takes the form of tables, shelving and a versatile window display unit. These materials provide a clean and fresh backdrop for the rich array of produce that sits within them. The layout has been adapted to incorporate more seating options making it a more comfortable dining space that has the flexibility to cater to groups.
